Dual Fuel Heat Pump Systems

Get up to $2600 back in utility rebates!

Our dual fuel heat pump systems start at $12,000. After rebates and tax credits, you can end up paying as little as $9400 for a 96% efficient furnace and an 14 SEER AC/Heat Pump that is whisper quiet, and comes with a lifetime heat exchanger, and 10 year parts warranty!

What is a heat pump? Simply put, a heat pump is an A/C that has a reversing valve in it. During the summer it runs as a standard A/C. During the winter it activates the reversing valve, thus causing it to heat your home instead of cool it.

A standard heat pump is effective down to 20 degrees. When it gets colder than that your gas furnace takes over, hence the term "dual fuel".

Why would I want a heat pump instead of a conventional furnace and A/C?

1. Price. The same system as listed above with a conventional A/C instead of a heat pump would be a 14 SEER for around $10,000 out of pocket, but it would only qualify for $300 in utility rebates, which brings your total cost to $9700. A dual fuel system is more, for less.

2. Energy savings. The price of natural gas in recent years has doubled, and is set to at least double again within the next 5 years. The big expense with heating your home is actually generating the heat. A heat pump doesn't generate heat. It simply transfers it from outside to the inside of your house.
